Jennifer Lavin

Owner & Physical Therapist

Jennifer obtained her Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Bradly University and Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. She currently holds a Manual Therapy Certification for Spine, Pelvis and Extremities. She also holds certifications in Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy with Dry Needling, Postpartum Corrective Exercise, Prenatal and Postpartum Yoga, Pilates Method Alliance Pilates Teacher. She holds a 450-Hour Pilates for Rehabilitation Diploma from Polestar Pilates, is a 200-Hour Registered Yoga teacher and is working toward APTA's Section on Women's Health Certificate of Achievement in Pregnancy/Postpartum Physical Therapy-OB and Pelvic Health.

Jennifer truly believes in the power of one-on-one engagement and personalized treatment, which is why she uses a variety of techniques for prevention, healing and maintenance.  She recognizes each patients individual goals and provides care to help them live their best life!

When she is not at Mindful Matters Wellness you can find her battling it out on the dance floor, cycling on the trails in the amazing city of Milwaukee or hanging out with her fur baby, Luna.

Lauryn Beecher

Physical Therapist & Instructor

Lauryn Beecher, PT, DPT, RYT  is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Registered Yoga Teacher. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science and Spanish she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy. While in Los Angeles she fell in love with the practice of Yoga and the traditional teachings of Yoga. She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher through Yoga Works in Santa Monica, California. Utilizing her yoga and physical therapy background Lauryn has a passion for sharing, teaching and enlightening individuals from all backgrounds and fitness levels with mindfulness, love and kindness.

Lauryn’s treatment approach involves individualized, one-on-one patient care. Her first goal is that you feel listened too and understood, so you can actively participate in your care. She believes in treating, and working with, the whole person and not just their symptoms in order to provide the best care and see the best outcomes! Her priority is to help you feel inspired to take back control of your health and get you back to doing what you love!

In her spare time Lauryn enjoys yoga, weight lifting, and hiking with her dog.
