The Studio

Mindful Matters Wellness is a boutique physical therapy, Pilates, yoga and wellness studio on Milwaukee's Eastside.  At Mindful Matters Wellness we aim to offer a premier wellness experience.  We provide an inclusive environment to meet the needs that matter to our clients.  Keeping them active and mobile without painkillers, surgery or endless doctors visits.  Our studio was designed to promote health, fitness and wellness in a relaxing and stress free environment.


STUDIO POLICIES

ATTENDANCE & CANCELLATION POLICIES

  1. Prior to participating any class/session at Mindful Matters Wellness, LLC, a Waiver of Liability must be completely filled out and signed.

  2. All classes/sessions require a reservation. Reservations must be made 1 hour prior to class start time.

  3. Class/session durations may vary but will all begin and end promptly as scheduled.

  4. Regardless of client arrival time, all classes/sessions will end at the scheduled time.

  5. Please be courteous and quiet while sessions are in progress and we kindly ask that you turn off your cell phone before entering the studio, and refrain from wearing scents or perfume to avoid disruption to you and others during classes.

  6. Equipment Pilates Classes are taught barefoot or wearing pilates gripper socks. No other shoes or socks are allowed on Pilates equipment.

  7. All group class cancellations must be made 12 hours prior to the reserved class' start time to avoid being charged.

    • Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged for the reserved class.

    • Cancellations can be done via clients' online account, calling or texting (414) 939-4991, in person or by e-mailing the studio directly at info@mindfulmatterswellness.com.

  8. Pilates and Yoga Mats are available for use free of charge, but we ask that students spray and wipe down their mats following their class.

DUET SESSION CANCELLATION POLICY

  1. To cancel, Duet clients must provide 24-hour notice prior to start of appointment time by contacting the instructor or the studio directly via PHONE or EMAIL.

    • If one party (“Party 1”) no shows or late cancels, and the other party ("Party 2") is in attendance, then Party 1 will be charged the full amount of the registered class and Party 2 will continue with the scheduled class but as a one-on-one class at the rate of the duet session.

    • If Party 1 provides a 24-hour cancellation notice to BOTH the wellness center AND Party 2, then Party 2 has two options: Cancel the session with no charge or keep the scheduled session time and pay for an upgraded personal session.

    • If needed, please see instructor for clarification of the duet cancellation policy to avoid charges.

PERSONAL SESSION (MFR SESSIONS INCLUDED) CANCELLATION POLICY

  1. All cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the start of the reserved session time to avoid being charged.

    • Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full amount of the reserved session.

    • Cancellations can be done via online, telephone or by e-mailing the studio directly.

INSTRUCTOR/PRACTITIONER CANCELLATION POLICY

  1. In the case of an Instructor canceling class(es), all reserved clients will be provided notice prior to the scheduled class or session time; in the case of Instructor illness or emergency, we will inform you of the class or session cancellation as soon as possible and will cancel without charge or fee to you.

PURCHASE POLICY

  1. Advance payment or valid credit card information on file is required to complete a reservation for classes or session appointments.

  2. Clients must verify all class expirations dates, as expiration dates vary per class package, deal or promotion. Contact Instructor or MFR Practitioner about questions remaining expired classes or sessions.

  3. We accept cash, check, credit, debit, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA).

RETURN POLICY

  1. All fitness purchases (group classes, duet sessions, personal sessions) and wellness sessions (MFR) are non-refundable, but can be transferable to friends, family etc.

  2. Non-Used Products (i.e. clothing, mats, jewelry) are fully refundable with receipt for 30 days following purchase.
