Studio and Class Policies

Studio Policies

  1. Prior to participating any class or session at Mindful Matters Wellness, LLC, a Waiver of Liability must be completely filled out and signed.
  2. Class times range from 30-75 minutes. Classes begin and end promptly as scheduled.
  3. Regardless of client arrival time, all classes and wellness services will end at the scheduled time.
  4. Please be courteous and quiet while sessions are in progress and we kindly ask that you turn off your cell phone before entering the studio, and refrain from wearing scents or perfume to avoid disruption to you and others during classes.
  5. Equipment Pilates Classes are taught barefoot or wearing pilates gripper socks. No other shoes or socks are allowed on Pilates equipment.
  6. We recommend you bring your own yoga or Pilates mat as MMW mats are available by first come first serve basis.

Cancellation Policies

Group Class Cancellation Policy

  1. All cancellations must be made 12 hours prior to the reserved class' start time to avoid being charged.
  2. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged for the reserved class.
    1. Clients reserving though Unlimited LifeStyle memberships will be charged the Drop-In rate of said reserved class if late cancels or no-shows. With Drop-In rates as follows: Reformer $30.00, Mat Based $16.00.
      • Members are allotted two (2) late cancellation or no-show leniencies per year.
    2. Clients reserving through Limited Lifestyle Memberships Class Packs, or Drop-Ins will have 1 class deducted per late cancel or no-show.
  3. Cancellations can be done via clients' online account, calling or texting (414) 939-4991, in person or by e-mailing the studio directly at info@mindfulmatterswellness.com.

Duet Sessions Cancellation Policy

  1. To cancel, Duet clients must provide 24-hour notice prior to start of appointment time by contacting the instructor or the studio directly via PHONE or EMAIL.
  2. If one party (“Party 1”) no shows or late cancels, and the other party ("Party 2") is in attendance, then Party 1 will be charged the full amount of the registered class and Party 2 will continue with the scheduled class but as a one-on-one class at the rate of the duet session.
  3. If Party 1 provides a 12 hour cancellation notice to BOTH the wellness center AND Party 2, then Party 2 has two options: Cancel the session with no charge or keep the scheduled session time and pay for an upgraded private session.
  4. If needed, please see instructor for clarification of the duet cancellation policy to avoid charges.

Private Classes Cancellation Policy

  1. All cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the start of the reserved class time to avoid being charged.
  2. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full amount of the reserved class.
  3. Cancellations can be done via online, telephone or by e-mailing the studio directly.

Myofascial Release Session Cancellation Policy

  1. All cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the start of the reserved class time to avoid being charged.

Fitness Instructor/MFR Practitioner Cancellation Policy

  1. In the case of an Instructor canceling class(es), all reserved clients will be provided notice prior to the scheduled class or session time;
  2. In the case of Instructor illness or emergency, we will inform you of the class or session cancellation as soon as possible and will cancel without charge or fee to you.

 


    Purchase & Return Policies

    Purchase Policy

    1. Advance payment may be required to complete a reservation for classes or appointments.
    2. Clients must verify all class expirations dates, as expiration dates vary per class package, deal or promotion.  Contact Instructor about remaining expired classes or sessions.  Classes or sessions may still be used after expiration date by applying discounted price towards full price of service. Remaining balance of full price then to be paid at time of service.
    3. Limited appointments can be made online, however contact the studio by phone or email for further accommodations.

    We accept cash, check, credit, debit, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA).

    Return Policy

    1. All fitness purchases (group classes, duet sessions, private sessions) are non-refundable, but can be transferable to friends, family etc.
    2. Non-Used Products (i.e. clothing, mats, jewelry) are fully refundable with receipt for 30 days following purchase.
